ORDINANCE NO. 2004-4-6797
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY, TRANSPORTATION
CABINET, DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A RIGHT TURN LANE AT LOURDES HOSPITAL
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract between
the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department of Highways, and the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
for construction of a right turn lane at Lourdes Hospital entrance on U.S. 45(Lone Oak Road) to
provide an emergency vehicle access lane. The Department will reimburse the City up to
$46,000 for completion of this project.
SECTION 2. Reimbursement funds from the Transportation Cabinet shall be
deposited in the Street Resurfacing and Rehabilitation Revenue Fund Account.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
