ORDINANCE NO. 2004-4-6796
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FIRE
TRAINING MATERIAL FROM ACTION TRAINING SYSTEMS, INC. FOR THE
PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, a written determination has been made by the City Manager
that the purchase of audio-visual training systems material will be made pursuant to Sec.
2-659 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Finance Director is hereby authorized to pay to Action
Training Systems, Inc., the total amount of $16,540.00 for the purchase of audio-visual
training systems material to aid firefighters in becoming NFPA and IFSAC certified.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Action Training Systems, Inc., for sale to the City of fire training materials authorized in
Section 1 above.

SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to project account
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication
