AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT FOR A YOUTH NUTRITION AND FITNESS FROM THE GENERAL MILLS
FOUNDATION FOR THE SUMMER RECREATION DAY CAMP PROGRAM AND THE
} AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM OFFERED THROUGH THE PARKS SERVICES

WHEREAS, the City of Paducah applied for a General Mills Youth Nutrition and
Fitness Grant adopted by Municipal Order No. 1201 on March 14, 2006, for the Summer
Recreation Day Camp Program and the After School Program; and
WHEREAS, General Mills Foundation has approved the application and is now
ready to award this grant.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Grant
Agreement with the General Mills Foundation for a Youth Nutrition and Fitness Grant in the
amount of $10,000.00 for the Summer Recreation Day Camp Program and the After School
Program offered through the Parks Services Department.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapt
