AN ORDINANCE PROVING A DEED OF CORRECTION AND
QUITCLAIM DEED TO KIWANIS CLUB OF SOUTH PADUCAH, INC.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 91-11-4696 the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, conveyed to Kiwanis Club of South Paducah, Inc., a certain tract of land by
deed dated December 3, 1991, of record in Deed Book 762, page 653, in the McCracken
County Court Clerk's Office; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid deed did not contain all of the land intended to
be conveyed by the City to Kiwanis Club; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid deed contained an inaccurate source of title by
which the City held title to said property; and
error.
WHEREAS, the City and Kiwanis Club desire to correct the aforesaid
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby authorizes the Mayor to
execute a deed of correction and quitclaim deed to Kiwanis Club of South Paducah, Inc.,
for property located at 1640 South 6th Street
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate day s and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
