AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF 16 8 -YARD
DUMPSTERS ALONG WITH ADDITIONAL DUMPSTERS DURING FY2012-2013 TO BE
UTILIZED BY THE SOLID WASTE DIVISION OF ENGINEERING -PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State of Kentucky Master
Agreement Number MA 758 1100000316, and, therefore, competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is authorized to pay Municipal
Equipment, Inc., an amount not to exceed $70,000.00 for the purchase of 16 8 -yard dumpsters
along with various sized additional dumpsters during FY2012-2103 for the City of Paducah
Engineering -Public Works Department, Solid Waste Division,, in compliance with the Kentucky
State Purchasing Contract.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to the Solid Waste Fund
replacement budget account (050-2210-531-4219).
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
