AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CAMPAIGN GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE KENTUCKY STATE
POLICE FOR SUPPORT OF THE `BUCKLE UP KENTUCKY IT'S THE LAW & IT'S
ENFORCED" CAMPAIGN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Campaign
Grant Agreement with the Kentucky State Police for a Kentucky State Police Governor's
Highway Safety Program reimbursement grant in the amount of $5,000. Said grant funds shall
be expended for overtime traffic enforcement activities provided by police officers in the
Paducah Police Department, in support of the "Buckle Up Kentucky It's the Law & It's
Enforced" campaign.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
