AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2005-6-6988,
ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2005,
\i! THROUGH JUNE 30, 2006, BY ESTIMATING REVENUES AND RESOURCES AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF CITY GOVERNMENT"
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to reappropriate funds for the 2005-
2006 budget which was adopted by Ordinance No. 2005-6-6988 and
WHEREAS, KRS prohibits expenses to exceed the budget in any
department.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
2005, and ending June 30, 2006, be amended by increasing the General Fund's estimate
of revenues and resources by $320,000, to Lisc., Permits, and Other Taxes (revenue).
SECTION 2. That the annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
2005, and ending June 30, 2006, be amended by a supplemental appropriation in the
amount of $320,000 to General Fund - Transfer Out line item (expenditure).
SECTION 3. That the annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
( 2005, and ending June 30, 2006, be amended by increasing the Investment Fund's
estimate of revenues and resources by $320,000, to Fund Transfers In (revenue).
SECTION 4. That the annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
2005, and ending June 30, 2006, be amended by a supplemental appropriation in the
amount of $320,000 to Investment Fund - Transfer Out line item (expenditure).
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
