AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO ACCEPT A GRANT THROUGH THE
KENTUCKY OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF A
VULNERABILITY REDUCTION PLAN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute all
documents necessary to accept a grant in the amount of $98,609.00 through the Kentucky Office
of Homeland Security for implementation of a Vulnerability Reduction Plan.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to account — buffer zone grant.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
