AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE
REAR -LOADING REFUSE COLLECTION CHASSIS AND BODY, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
01 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:

SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Duckett Truck Center, Inc.,
in the amount of $107,603.00, for sale to the City of one rear -loading refuse collection chassis
and body, for use by the Solid Waste Division/Public Works Department, said bid being in
substantial compliance with bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of Duckett Truck
Center, Inc., of September 1, 2004.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Duckett
Truck Center, Inc., for the purchase of one rear -loading refuse collection chassis and body,
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
