AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF PADUCAH FORD FOR SALE TO
THE CITY OF VEHICLES FOR USE BY VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bids of Paducah Ford in the total amount
of $153,830.00, for vehicles for use by the Inspection Dept., Street Division, Landscape Division and
Custodial Division of Public Works, said bids being in substantial compliance with bid specifications,
and as contained in the bids of Paducah Ford, of November 13, 2005, for sale to the City of the
following:
2006 Ford Taurus Vehicles - two @ $14,850
2006 1 -Ton Crew Cab Diesel Dump Trucks - two @ $41,850
2006 3/4 Ton Gas Crew Cab Pickup 2WD — one @$21,980
2006 3/4 Ton Gas Pickup 2WD — one @$18,450
Totals - 6 vehicles = $153,830
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Paducah Ford
for the purchase of various vehicles, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.

effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
