ORDINANCE NO. 2005-12-7059
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF
FIRE STRUCTURAL TURN OUT GEAR, FOR USE BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Bluegrass Fire
Equipment in the amount of $10,380.00 for the purchase of fire structural turn out gear,
for use by the Fire Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid of Bluegrass Fire
Equipment of November 28, 2005.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Bluegrass Fire Equipment for the purchase of fire structural turn out gear, authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Equipment & Safety
account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary Publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
