ORDINANCE NO. 2005-12-7058
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE AND
INSTALLATION OF PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SAME
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-661, Cooperative Purchasing of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, this equipment is available under
Contract No. 040376 of U.S. Communities, a government purchasing cooperative, and
competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is authorized to pay the total sum
of $54,562.00 to GameTime for the purchase and installation of playground equipment to
be located in Noble Park in the City of Paducah, in compliance with Sec. 2-661,
Cooperative Purchasing of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Game Time, for the purchase and installation of playground equipment authorized in
Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to the Noble Park
Playground account PA0045.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
