AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A PITNEY
BOWES POSTAGE MAILING SYSTEM FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT

WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State Contract No. C-
04544745, and competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is authorized to pay the total sum
of $21,415.00 to Pitney Bowes for the purchase of a postage mailing system for the City
of Paducah, in compliance with Kentucky State Purchasing Contract.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Pitney Bowes, for the purchase of one postage mailing system authorized in Section 1
above.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be processed through General
Administration-Equipment/Office account.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
