AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF IN -CAR VIDEO
SYSTEMS FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
i WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 2005-7-6992
accepting an online Justice Assistance Grant through the U.S. Department of Justice in the
amount of $31,430 for use by the Police Department for the purchase of digital in -car video
systems.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah authorizes the sole -source purchase of ten
(10) in -car video systems from Mobile Vision, Inc. in the amount of $30,350.00, for use by the
Police Department.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Mobile
Vision, Inc., for the purchase of in -car video systems, authorized in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Project PO 0032.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
