AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO.4 WITH FLORENCE & HUTCHESON, INC., FOR
THE PECAN DRIVE/BUCKNER LANE ROADWAY PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City adopted Ordinance No. 2005-4-6951 authorizing the
Mayor to execute Change Order #3 with Florence & Hutcheson, Inc., for additional
surveying and design work in an amount not to exceed $61,024.00, thereby increasing the
contract amount to $395,603.00; and
WHEREAS, all work for additional surveying and design has now been
completed with the total amount of $392,174.50 paid to date; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 4 is required as a decrease in the amount of
$3,428.50, in order to finalize the total project cost for the above referenced contract to
$392,174.50.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change
Order No. 4 for an overall price reduction in the amount of $3,428.50 for the City of
Paducah's Pecan Drive/Buckner Lane Roadway Project, decreasing the total contract price to
$392,174.50.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuar
