AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
PAY FOR RELOCATION OF A GAS MAIN AT THE PECAN DRIVE-BUCKNER
LANE BRIDGE PROJECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Finance Director is hereby authorized to pay to Atmos
Energy the sum of $41,212.50, for the relocating of a gas main found during construction
of one of the new bridges for the Pecan Drive -Buckner Lane Bridge Project.
SECTION 2. Expenditures for this project shall be charged to Project
Account ST0022.
SECTION 3. Pursuant to KRS 83A.060, the City Commission suspends
the requirement of a second reading and publication of this Ordinance. As grounds
therefore, the City Commission does hereby declare an emergency to exist in order to pay
for the work within an extended grace period.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall become effective upon the first reading
of this Ordinance.
