AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A JOHN
DEERE TRACTOR AND INSTALLATION OF A TRIPLE -GANG FLAIL MOWER
FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/GROUNDS DIVISION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah accepted sealed competitive bids on
January 31, 2005, for a John Deere tractor and installation of a triple -gang flail mower
and;
WHEREAS, said equipment is offered under State Contract No.
CO2052614 at a lower price.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah authorizes the Finance Director to pay
the total sum of $31,791.00, to Sanders Implement for purchase of one John Deere
Tractor and installation of a triple -gang flail mower, for use by the Public Works
Department/Grounds Division, in compliance with Kentucky State Purchasing Contract.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Sanders Implement, for the purchase of one John Deere Tractor and installation of a
triple -gang flail mower, authorized in Section 1 above.

SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to the Fleet Lease Trust
