ORDINANCE NO. 2005-2-6932
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE
TRIPLE -GANG FLAIL MOWER FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT/GROUNDS DIVISION, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah accepted sealed competitive bids on
January 31, 2005, for a triple -gang flail mower; and
WHEREAS, said equipment is offered under State Contract No.
CO2054209 at a lower price.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah authorizes the Finance Director to pay
the total sum of $26,311.83, to Hartland Equipment for purchase of one triple -gang flail
mower, for use by the Public Works Department/Grounds Division, in compliance with
Kentucky State Purchasing Contract.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Hartland Equipment, for the purchase of one triple -gang flail mower, authorized in
Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to the Fleet Lease Trust
C) account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
