HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-2-6926ORDINANCE 2005-2-6926 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDERS 1 & 2 WITH CHESTER MECHANICAL, INC. FOR HVAC RENOVATIONS AT THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2004-11-6885 to enter into a contract with Chester Mechanical, Inc., in the amount of $411,560.00 for HVAC renovations at the Paducah Police Department; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of $8,771.00 for the installation of new ceiling tiles and lights in corridors and Change Order No. 2 is required for an increase in the amount of $22,814.00, for a new ergonomic work station for reception area, in order to finalize the project for the above referenced contract, increasing the total contract price to $443,145.00. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Orders 1 & 2 in the combined amount of $31,585.00 for HVAC renovations at the Paducah Police Department, increasing the total contract price to $443,145.00. PF0034. SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Project account SECTION 3.
