ORDINANCE NO. 2005-1-6922
AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, BY INTENT TO ANNEX CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING
ADJACENT TO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND
DEFINING ACCURATELY THE BOUNDARY OF SAID PROPERTY TO BE
INCLUDED WITHIN THE SAID CORPORATE LIMITS
WHEREAS, a tract of property adjacent to the present city limits, located
on the northeast intersection of Perkins Creek Drive and Hansen Road, is urban in
character and suitable for development for urban purposes without unreasonable delay; and
WHEREAS, the property is contiguous to the present corporate limits of the
City, and it is desirable and necessary to annex the hereinafter described property; and
WHEREAS, said tract of land is not within the boundary of another
incorporated city.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. It is the intent of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, to annex the
hereinafter described property, and therefore that the hereinafter described property be
annexed to, and be made a part of the City of Paducah, Kentucky said real property being
more particularly and accurately described as follows:
A particular tract of land situated in McCracken County, Kentucky
and being Lot 11, 14A and 14 in the Waiver of Subdivision for
Falconite-Hipp, LLC recorded in Plat Book "L" Page 1193 at the
McCracken County Court Clerk's office and being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point, said point being an existing 4"x4" concrete
monument with cap marked "F&H" set in the northeast intersection
of the right-of-way for Hansen Road and Perkins Creek Drive,
thence along the easterly right-of-way line of Perkins Creek Road
North 38 degrees 22 minutes 25 seconds West a distance of 43.81
feet to an existing 4"x4" concrete monument with cap marked
"F&H"; thence along the easterly right-of-way line of Perkins Creek
Road North 4 degrees 43 minutes 34 seconds East a distance of
784.12 feet to an existing iron pin with cap marked "F&H"; thence
South 85 degrees 17 minutes 11 seconds East a distance of 443.96
feet to an existing iron pin with cap marked "F&H"; thence South 4
degrees 34 minutes 32 seconds West a distance of 290.05 feet to an
existing iron pin with cap marked "F&H"; thence North 85 degrees
21 minutes 44 seconds West a distance of 161.09 feet to a point;
thence South 4 degrees 33 minutes 18 seconds West a distance of
220.00 feet to an existing 4"x4" concrete monument with cap
marked "F&H"; thence South 85 degrees 16 minutes 26 seconds
East a distance of 198 feet to an existing iron pin with cap marked
"PLS 2105"; thence South 4 degrees 33 minutes 18 seconds West a
distance of 336.00 feet to an iron pin with cap marked "F&H";
thence along the northerly right-of-way line of Hansen Road North
81 degrees 28 minutes 36 seconds West a distance of 454.35 feet to
the point of beginning, containing 7.9300 acres.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
