AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY, TRANSPORTATION
CABINET, DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PECAN DRIVE-BUCKNER LANE ROADWAY PROJECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract between
the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department of Highways, and the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
for the construction of the Pecan Drive—Buckner Lane Roadway Project. The Department will
reimburse the City up to $4,300,000 for completion of this project.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
