AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF B. H. GREEN & SON,
INC. FOR THE RENOVATION OF THE AMPHITHEATRE IN NOBLE PARK AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
2 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of B. H. Green &
Son. Inc., in the amount of $193,900.00, for demolition of the existing structure and
construction of a new amphitheatre in Noble Park, said purchase being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid
of B. H. Green & Son Inc. of April 5, 2005.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
B. H. Green for construction of the new amphitheatre in Noble Park as authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Noble Park Amphitheatre
Renovation account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication
