AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH THE CONVENTION CENTER CORPORATION FOR SPECIFIC
SERVICES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract
with the Convention Center Corporation in the amount of $100,000, to be paid in
quarterly installments (1St and 2nd quarter -$34,500 each—less one-half of insurance
premiums in each quarter; 3rd/ 4th quarter - $15,500 each), to market and operate the
Expo Center and Julian Carroll Convention Center. This contract shall expire June 30,
2013.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to the Investment Fund.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
