AN ORDINANCE RENAMING HENRY CLAY PARK TO ALBERT
JONES PARK
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah desires to rename Henry Clay Park to
Albert Jones Park to honor Former Mayor Albert Jones for recognition of his service as
Mayor of the City of Paducah from 1996 to 2000; as a Korean War Veteran; and serving
as Commonwealth attorney, U.S. Attorney and State Representative.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY;
SECTION 1. That the name of Henry Clay Park located between Joe
Bryan Drive, Guthrie Avenue, B Street, South 21St Street be renamed to Albert Jones
Park.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
