ORDINANCE NO. 2005-4-6949
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING SECTION 8 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHERS
FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH SECTION 8 PROGRAM
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, to provide decent,
C) safe and sanitary rental housing assistance for eligible families and provide opportunities,
promote self-sufficiency and economic independence for Section 8 participants.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby accepts 44 Housing Choice Vouchers
from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development in the amount of $151,008 annually
and one time administrative payment of $9,250 for the City of Paducah Section 8 Program to
replace housing conversion actions at Southgate Manor Apartments.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
