AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A DEED OF
CONVEYANCE AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS RELATING THERETO, FOR
ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5225 BUCKNER LANE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a deed of conveyance
and all other documents relating thereto for acquisition of property located at 5225 Buckner Lane
for the Pecan Drive/Buckner Lane Roadway Improvement Project, for and in consideration of
$48,675.00.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Pecan Dr/Buckner Lane
Extension Right -of -Way Acquisition account.
SECTION 3. Pursuant to KRS 83A.060, the City Commission suspends the
requirement of a second reading and publication of this Ordinance. As grounds therefore, the
City Commission does hereby declare an emergency to exist due to the property owners wishing
to expedite the closure of this transaction.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall become effective upon the first reading of this
Ordinance.
