AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A DEED OF CORRECTION FOR PROPERTIES ACQUIRED FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT OF THE GREENWAY TRAIL
WHEREAS, a Deed of Correction is required to include a tract of land that was
inadvertently omitted by the deed dated the 12th day of April, 2004, adopted by Ordinance No.
2004-4-6792, between J.E.D.D. and the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for property located adjacent
to Stuart Nelson Park for the development of the Greenway Trail.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Deed
of Correction between J.E.D.D. and the City of Paducah for the sale of properties located
adjacent to Stuart Nelson Park for development of the Greenway Trail.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
