HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-6-6978428 ORDINANCE NO. 2005-6-6978 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONE CHANGE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 801 AND 807 OLD MAYFIELD ROAD, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution passed by the Paducah Planning Commission on May 16, 2005, and entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONING CHANGE FROM R-3 TO B-1 FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 801 AND 807 OLD MAYFIELD ROAD," be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of 801 and 807 Old Mayfield Road be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 (Medium Density Residential Zone), to B-1 (Convenience & Service Zone): Beginning at a point; said point being the intersection of the Guthrie Avenue and Old Mayfield Road R/W; thence in a westerly direction with the centerline of Old Mayfield Road a distance of 114' to a point; thence in a northerly direction with the westerly property line of 807 Mayfield a distance of 137' to a point; thence in an easterly direction with the rear property lines of 801 & 807 Mayfield Road a distance of 114' to a C point; said point being in the centerline of Guthrie Avenue; thence with the centerline of Guthrie Avenue and in a southerly direction a distance of 137' to the point of beginning; said described area containing 15,618 square feet. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ATTEST: Tammara S.
