ORDINANCE NO. 2005-9-7009
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING SIEMENS BUILDING
TECHNOLOGIES, INC., TO COMPLETE PHASE ONE OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL
UPGRADE FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this service to perform a retrofit of incandescent traffic signal
modules, is available in accordance with the Commonwealth of Kentucky ES -229-04
Request for Solicitation dated May 28, 2004, and Solicitation Modification No. 1, and
competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is authorized to pay an amount
not to exceed $48,126.98 to Siemens Building Technologies, Inc., for completion of
phase one of the traffic signal upgrade for the City of Paducah which includes replacing
incandescent bulbs and pedestrian lamps, in compliance with Kentucky State Purchasing
Contract.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Siemens Building Technologies, Inc., for completion of phase one traffic signal upgrade,
authorized in Section 1 above
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be processed through Misc.
--' Commodities/Traffic Signals.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
