ORDINANCE NO. 2005-11-7033
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING THERETO
WITH THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE FOR LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FOR A 2005 LAND

p AND WATER CONSERVATION FUND GRANT
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah applied for a Land and Water Conservation
Fund Grant adopted by Municipal Order No. 1110 on January 24, 2005, for the construction of
Phase I of the outdoor skate park located in Noble Park; and
WHEREAS, the Governor's Office for Local Development has approved the
application and is now ready to award this grant.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Grant
Agreement and all documents relating thereto with the Governor's Office for Local Development
to obtain a matching grant in the amount of $75,000.00 for a National Park Service Land and
Water Conservation Fund Grant for the construction of Phase I of the outdoor skate park located
in Noble Park. The City will provide matching funds in the amount of $75,000.00, for this
proj ect.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Project No. PA 0044.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
