AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF IN -CAR VIDEO
CAMERAS FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, a written determination has been made by the City Manager that the
purchase of in -car video systems will be made pursuant to Sec. 2-659 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah authorizes the sole -source purchase of ten
(10) in -car video systems from Mobile Vision, Inc. in the amount of $30,350.00, for use by the
Police Department.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Mobile
Vision, Inc., for the purchase of in -car video cameras, authorized in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Project EQ 0012.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
