HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-12-7221ORDINANCE NO. 2006-12-7221 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID FOR PURCHASE OF A TRAILER TO SERVE AS A COMMAND CENTER FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Youngblood's RV, in the total amount of $23,898.00, for purchase of a trailer to be used as a command center vehicle, said bids being in substantial compliance with bid specifications, and as contained in the bids of Youngblood's RV of November 8, 2006. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Youngblood's RV for the purchase of a trailer, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Rolling Stock/Vehicle Account. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ATTEST: S, 84� Tammara S.
