AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 WITH BOULDIN ROOFING COMPANY FOR
REPLACEMENT OF GUTTERS FOR THE MARKET HOUSE BUILDING
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2006-10-7188 to enter into a
contract with Bouldin Roofing Company in an amount not to exceed $42,000.00 for roof
replacement for the Market House; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of
$7,380.00 for replacement of aluminum gutters and downspouts required to finalize the project
for the above referenced contract, increasing the total contract price to $49,380.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change
Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $7,380.00 with Bouldin Roofing Company for
replacement of gutters and downspouts required to finalize the roofing replacement project for
the Market Housing Building, increasing the total cost not to exceed $49,380.00.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Project Account PF0018.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
