AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID FOR GROUNDS MAINTENANCE
OF CITY OWNED PROPERTIES, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Kinsey's Lawn &
Tractor, in an amount not to exceed $60,000.00, for grounds maintenance of city owned
properties, said bid being in substantial compliance with bid specifications, and as contained in
the bid of Kinsey's Lawn & Tractor of August 25, 2006.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Kinsey's Lawn & Tractor, for grounds maintenance of city owned properties, authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged through CD0040 Project Account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
