AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ATLAS ROOFING FOR
REPLACEMENT OF THE ROOF FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT GARAGE, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Atlas Roofing, in an
amount not to exceed $51,727.20 for replacement of the roof for the Police Department Garage,
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bid, and as
contained in the bid of Atlas Roofing, of September 8, 2006.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
contract with Atlas Roofing for replacement of the roof for the Police Department Garage, as
authorized in Section 1 above, pursuant to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Project No. PF0040.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
