AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR A FORESTRY GRANT AWARD FROM THE
KENTUCKY DIVISION OF FORESTRY FOR CREATING A TREE INVENTORY FOR THE
CITY OF PADUCAH' S NOBLE PARK
('J" WHEREAS, the City of Paducah applied for a Kentucky Urban and Community
Forestry Grant adopted by Municipal Order No. 1209 on April 25, 2006, for conducting a tree
inventory for the City of Paducah's Noble Park; and
WHEREAS, the Kentucky Division of Forestry has approved the application and
is now ready to award this grant.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
Memorandum of Agreement with the Kentucky Division of Forestry for an Urban and
Community Forestry Grant in the amount of $5,000.00 for creating a tree inventory for Noble
Park located in the City of Paducah. The required match of $5,000 will be through in-kind
donations and the Public Works budget.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged through project PA0047.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become

effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
