AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 WITH SOUTHERN BUSINESS
COMMUNICATIONS FOR THE COMMISSION CHAMBER SOUND SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2006-3-7090 to enter into a
' contract with Southern Business Communications in the amount of $22,758.39, upgrade
of the Commission Chamber sound system; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required in the amount of $1,241.38,
to make the sound system ADA compliant by installing assisted listening devices in order
to complete the project, increasing the total contract price to $23,999.77.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
Change Order No. 1 for a increase in the amount of $1,241.38 for the City of Paducah's
commission chamber sound system upgrade, increasing the total contract price to
$23,999.77.

SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged through project account
