ORDINANCE 2006-7-7143
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 WITH WASTEQUIP HOLT FOR THE PURCHASE
OF FRONT -LOADING REFUSE CONTAINERS
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2006-5-7127 to enter into a
contract with Wastequip Holt in an amount not to exceed $40,000 for the purchase of front-
loading refuse containers for the Public Works Department/Solid Waste Division; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required as an increase in the amount of
$1,757.00, to allow the City to purchase additional containers due to a significant increase in
the price if the purchase is made at a later date, therefore increasing the total purchase
amount to $41,757.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change
Order No. 1 for the purchase of additional front -loading refuse containers in the amount of
$1,757.00 for the City of Paducah's Public Works Department/Solid Waste Division,
increasing the total purchase to $41,757.00.
