AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY, TRANSPORTATION

CABINET, DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS FOR THE OLIVET CHURCH ROAD
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, for
acquisition of right of way and utility relocation for the Olivet Church Road Improvement
Project. The Department will reimburse the City up to $2,000,000 for completion of these two
phases.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
