ORDINANCE NO. 2007-2-7240
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TREE INC FOR TREE
CUTTING SERVICES, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Tree INC., for tree
cutting services required by the Public Works Department in an amount not to exceed
$40,000. Said contract is in substantial compliance with bid specifications, advertisement
for bids, and bid of Tree INC., dated November 27, 2006, is for a term of one year and
contains an option to renew at the same terms for two additional one-year periods.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract
between the City of Paducah and Tree INC., for the City's requirement of tree cutting
services as set out in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to the Services/Tree-
Weed-Debris Management account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
