AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDERS 1 & 2 WITH SKATE CONCEPTS FOR THE

A WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2006-5-7113 to enter into a
contract with Skate Concepts in the amount of $277,000.00 for the construction and
installation of a skatepark in Noble Park; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of
$4,490.00 and Change Order No. 2 is required for an increase in the amount of $3,742.00,
both change orders are necessary for unsuitable soil conditions requiring an adjustment of the
rock quantities, in order to finalize the project for the above referenced contract, increasing
the total contract price to $285,232.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change
Orders 1 & 2 in the combined amount of $8,232.00 for the completion of the skatepark
located in Noble Park, increasing the total contract price to $285,232.00.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
