AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF PADUCAH FORD IN THE
TOTAL AMOUNT OF $318,765.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF VEHICLES FOR USE BY
VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
J, CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bids of Paducah Ford in the total
amount of $318,765.00, for vehicles for use by the Public Works Department, Police
Department, Floodwall Department and General Government, said bids being in substantial
compliance with bid specifications, and as contained in the bids of Paducah Ford, of June 13,
2007, for sale to the City of the following:
Ton Gas 4x4 Regular Cab Pickup Truck 4 Wheel Drive -1 @ $22,920.00
Police Interceptor Pursuit Vehicles — 9 @ 20,925.00 = $188,325.00
Non -Pursuit Vehicle —1 @ $21,845.00
%2 Ton Gas 4 Door Crew Cab Pickup Truck 2 Wheel Drive —1 @ $24,950.00
%i Ton Gas Regular Cab Pickup Truck 2 Wheel Drive —1 @ $20,850.00
1 Ton Diesel 4x4 Cab & Chassis w/Service Bed —1 @ $39,875.00
Totals -14 vehicles = $318,765.00
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Paducah
Ford for the purchase of various vehicles, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the

specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.

SECTION 3. These purchases shall be charged to Rolling Stock/ Vehicles
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
