ORDINANCE NO. 2007-9-7324
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH
KENDIG KEAST COLLABORATIVE, (FORMERLY LANE KENDIG, INC.), FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE 2025 COMPREHENSIVE
Cjl� PLAN UPDATE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 2005-4-6965 the City authorized the execution of
an agreement with Lane Kendig, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $50,000 for professional
planning services related to the development of the 2025 Comprehensive Plan Update; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 2005-7-6990 the City authorized the execution of
an amendment to Ordinance No. 2005-4-6965 increasing the contract amount to $100,000; and
WHEREAS, the City has requested additional planning services thereby further
increasing the contract amount.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby approves a Contract Amendment
for additional planning services for the development of the 2025 Comprehensive Plan Update
with Kendig Keast Collaborative, (formerly Lane Kendig, Inc.), in an amount not to exceed
$9,600, therefore, increasing the total contract amount to $109,600.00.
SECTION 2. That the City of Paducah hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute
the aforementioned contract modification approved in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. Funding for the contract modification approved in Section 1 above
will be charged to Project Account DT0009.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
