ORDINANCE NO. 2007-9-7335
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF BONDED RUBBER
SURFACING FOR INSTALLATION AT NOBLE PARK, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Sport Surface Specialties,
for the purchase of bonded rubber surfacing in the total amount of $61,052.70 for installation at
the southern playground in Noble Park, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications, advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of Sport Surface Specialties,
dated August 24, 2007.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Sport
Surface Specialties, for the purchase of bonded rubber surfacing, according to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Noble Park Playground
Surface Upgrade account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
