ORDINANCE NO. 2007-9-7338
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF L-3
COMMUNICATIONS, FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN IN -CAR DIGITAL
CAMERA SYSTEM, FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of L-3
Communications in an amount not to exceed $51,448.50 for the purchase of an in -car
digital camera system, for use by the Police Department, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the
bid of L-3 Communications, of August 13, 2007.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract
with L-3 Communications, for the purchase of an in -car digital camera system,
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal, and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Equipment/Electronic-Surveillance account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and

will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
