HomeMy WebLinkAbout2007-10-7342ORDINANCE NO. 2007-10-7342 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO OBTAIN AN ONLINE JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT THROUGH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the City of Paducah desires to obtain a grant from the U. S. Department of Justice, which funds will be used by the Police Department for the purchase of a Direct Link LifeLine Crisis Communication System, 64 In -Vehicle Computer Printers, and a Bar Code Evidence Tracking System. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City is hereby authorized and directed to obtain an online Justice Assistance Grant through the U.S. Department of Justice in the amount of $35,157 for use by the Police Department for the purchase of a Direct Link LifeLine Crisis Communication System, 64 In -Vehicle Computer Printers, and a Bar Code Evidence Tracking System. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ATTEST: Q JJ Tammara S.
