AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH PAXTON PARK GOLF BOARD FOR
SPECIFIC SERVICES AND AUTHORIZE THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
TRANSFER FUNDS TO SAID BOARD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
a contract with Paxton Park Golf Board in the amount of $36,000.00 for specific services
for the Paducah area. This contract shall expire June 30, 2008.
SECTION 2. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to
transfer $36,000, from Commission Contingency to Paxton Park General Fund.
SECTION 3. Pursuant to KRS 83A.060, the City Commission suspends
the requirement of a second reading of this Ordinance. An emergency is hereby declared
to exist due to the necessity of meeting operational needs, funding is critical and this
ordinance shall become effective immediately with one reading.
