AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING THERETO
WITH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SECTION 112
GRANT FOR RIVERFRONT REDEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah applied for a 2006 United States Department of
Transportation Section 112 Grant in the amount of $2,277,000 for Riverfront Redevelopment
adopted by Municipal Order No. 1250 on December 12, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the United States Department of Transportation has approved the
application and is now ready to award this grant.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Grant
Agreement and all documents relating thereto with the United States Department of
Transportation, in the amount of $2,277,000 for a Section 112 Grant for the redevelopment of
Paducah's riverfront. This grant award does not require any local cash or in-kind match.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to CFDA 20-200 Account.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
