AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 402 NORTH SEVENTH STREET AND PROVIDING AUTHORITY
TO THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY A DEED OF
1 CONVEYANCE AND OTHER DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR SAID
ACQUISTION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby approves the purchase of
real property located at 402 North Seventh Street in the amount of $68,000, to be used for
arts related events and to serve as an information center for the Lower Town Arts Center
and Downtown Partnership.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor, on behalf of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, is hereby authorized to execute a Deed of Conveyance between Western
Kentucky Community Development, Inc., and the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and any
other documents necessary for the purchase of property located at 402 North Seventh
Street.
SECTION 3. The expenditure shall be charged to the Texaco Project
account number DT0021.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
