AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID FOR THE REMOVAL AND
REPLACEMENT OF THE ROOF ON THE BUILDING LOCATED AT 325 SOUTH SECOND
STREET AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Atlas Roofing in the
amount of $27,475.00 for the removal and replacement of the roof on the Boyles Brokerage
Building located at 325 South Second Street, said bid being in substantial compliance with the
bid specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid of Atlas Roofing of April
19, 2007.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
contract with Atlas Roofing in the amount of $27,475.00 for the removal and replacement of the
roof on the building located at 325 South Second Street, as authorized in Section 1 above,
pursuant to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to project account FRC -Boyles
Roof account (PF0045).
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
